Our History

Trendlines was founded in 2019 by Eliza Harding and Joe Saboe with the help of an advisory board. With over a decade of experience in the worlds of education and workforce, they set out to address the systemic shortcomings they saw in the space. Trendlines currently supports an Adult Portfolio and a Youth Portfolio.

Trendlines’ Adult Portfolio is a cohort accelerator providing expertise and multiyear support to organizations on how to design, operate, scale, and sustain high-quality skills, education, and employment programming. Trendlines also seeks social impact and other alternative funding sources to aid the scaling of effective programs from those cohorts.

Trendlines’ Youth Portfolio represents K12 school districts from around the state that are looking to design or optimize their career and college programming. Trendlines provides technical support throughout design, implementation, and sustainability planning.

By expanding the career options presented to learners and giving them the industry-ready skills they need to succeed, Trendlines aims to create systems of opportunity and end cycles of poverty.

Trendlines is a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center.
